Terms and Conditions
PURPOSE: Terms and Conditions are specified to insure customers understand Wall Tent Shop procedures for payment, custom orders, returns, cancellations, damage, back orders, quotes and shipping prior to the customer purchasing any products.
CREDIT CARDS: Only Canadian and US issued credit cards accepted. YOUR CREDIT CARD WILL BE CHARGED FULL AMOUNT AT TIME OF PURCHASE DUE TO THE HIGH NUMBER OF DECLINED CREDIT CARDS DURING PROCESSING OF ORDERS.
CHECK YOUR ORDERED ITEMS WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF RECEIPT to report any shortages or damages. Report items lost or damages in shipment immediately . There will be no refunds for any items reported lost or damages in shipment after receiving your items for 2 weeks. FEDEX will reject lost items claim.
Sometimes FEDEX will damage shipping boxes in transit. Usually there is no damage to the items inside the box. However, do an immediate inventory of your products to insure there are no damages or missing items. Call Canvas Tent Shop immediately if there are lost or damaged products.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: Payment will be made by wire transfer with wire transfer fees added.
RETURNS: Any return for any reason must be prior approved by Canvas Tent Shop.
Items returned without approval of Canvas Tent Shop, the customer will pay for the shipping costs for products to the customer and shipping products back to Canvas Tent Shop.
REDUCED PRODUCT PRICING. Several products have reduced prices/specials when purchased with larger more expensive items. If you order a reduced price product without purchasing the accompanying more expensive item you will be charged the normal price instead of the reduced price. Please call if you have questions.
MONEY ORDERS - CASHIER CHECKS: USA and Canadian only. Normally a 3-5 day delay in shipping.
PERSONAL CHECKS - Personal checks will be held 10 days. Order will not ship until after check clears.
NO RETURNS ON ITEMS THAT HAVE BEEN USED.
Return of any merchandise is not permitted without prior approval and must be mailed within 30 days of receipt of merchandise.
- items that have been worn, used, dirty, or altered or otherwise damaged/modified by the customer will NOT be accepted for refund or replacement.
- Defective items WILL BE REPLACED or REPAIRED IN YOUR AREA due to high cost of shipping. Decision to replace or repair will be determined by Wall Tent Shop.
- There will be a 20% restocking fee for any product returned, that is not defective, determined by Wall Tent Shop.
- Returns must be shipped prepaid freight by customer.
- Shipping fees to and from customer location are non refundable.
- All warranties actual or implied are the sole responsibilities of the manufacturer and should be returned directly to the manufacturer for replacement or repair after coordinating with Wall Tent Shop.
- RETURNS OF PRODUCTS: Refund amount to customer will be reduced for the total shipping costs to and from customers due to Wall Tent Shop incurring the shipping cost.
CUSTOM ORDERS will NOT be accepted for refund or replacement. All TIPIS and tent frames are considered custom orders. Each frame is custom built for a specific tent dimension, (slope, wall height, width, ridge height, ridge length) and each custom frame will only exactly fit the tent the frame was specifically built for.
Our tents are not intended to meet city building code requirements.
Products manufactured by Montana Canvas are warranted against defects of materials and workmanship. Any product found defective will be repaired or replaced (at the discretion of Montana Canvas) without charge when the product is returned to the retail seller with freight charges prepaid. This warranty is voided with the use of cleaning or treatment agents or compounds that have not been approved by Montana Canvas.
- Cancellations of any merchandise where the customer has used a credit card will result in a 3% cancellation fee.
- Cancellation of any merchandise that has already been shipped will be treated as a return. Procedures for Returns are outlined above.
LOSS OR DAMAGE: Inspect items received immediately upon receipt. After customer informs Wall Tent Shop of loss or damage, Wall Tent Shop will file a claim with UPS, FedEx, DHL or USPS for lost or damaged merchandise.
BACK ORDERS: All items are normally in stock. If we are temporarily out of an item we will contact you to determine if you want to back order or cancel purchase.
MONTHLY SPECIALS: Our specials are valid only for the month stated on that specific Wall Tent Shop web page. Occasionally, the monthly special for the next month is not updated on the first day of the new month. If this delay occurs, the preceding month's special will be honored until the new monthly special is posted on the website.

QUOTES: Valid for 30 days. If item is on a monthly special, quote is only valid for that month of the special.
DEMO MODELS: Occasionally, Canvas Tent Shop has tents or stoves that have been set up once or twice and consequently the items are not in pristine condition. Therefore, we sell these tents and stoves at a reduced price as there might be some slight dirt on a tent for example. I assure you the tent is cleaner than a new tent set up once when you going camping. The demo tents and stoves have no defects and are the same quality except the tents might have a little dirt on them or a stove might have a scratch on it.
PRICE: Due to changing manufacturer costs, all items are sold at website listed price on day of ordering. Prices and specials on website can change without notice.
TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS or significant product pricing errors will not be honored.
SHIPPING: We only ship our products within Canada.
