WILDERNESS FRAMES, MONTANA FRAMES AND CUSTOM CONDUIT FRAMES 

Steel and Aluminum pole outside diameter is 1 1/8".  Aluminum poles have approximately 25% less strength than steel poles.

I recommend you purchase an angle kit to make your frame out of conduit which will normally save you $100 to $400, including shipping, depending on what tent size you purchase.

However, if you don't want to make a conduit frame or don't have the time,  we will make the frame for you.

Tent sizes and minimum rafters per size of WILDERNESS tent are listed in pricing chart.  Rafters per tent size are the minimum required to insure proper roof support.  If you anticipate heavy snow loads we recommend getting rafter spacing closer to 2'.

8 x 10:  3 rafters

10 x 12: 3 rafters

12 x 14: 4 rafters

14 x 16: 4 rafters

16 x 20 : 5 rafters

16 x 24: 6 rafters

ADDITIONAL RAFTERS

Additional rafters are recommend if you anticipate heavy snow loads.  With heavy snow loads we recommend brushing the snow off as frequently as you can and getting your rafter spacing closer to 2'.  However, due to the variance in snow load, we cannot guarantee our frame will remaining standing under every snow load.

Wilderness frame includes 1 angle bag.  All legs will have rubber bottoms.

Poles are made of 1" EMT Conduit.

 One person set up, no pins, bolts or clips

RAFTERS: A 10" coupler will be used for 2 piece rafters on all tents with a width of 12 feet or wider.  8 x 10 and 10 x 12 frames will have 1 piece rafters.
